Here a update from the Tenant Committee! 

Bikes bikes bikes, lot of bike things this week.

• New double high bicycle racks will be placed in the bike storage "3+4" in Week 38 (16 - 22 september). This will increase bike storage just like the increase in the E2 tower. People storing their bikes there will need to remove it before the upgrade starts, we will send a reminder in september. Bike storage "3+4" is for people living in the E1 on floors 1,2,3,4 and 5.
• A bike has been stolen from the general bike storage of the main tower (storage to the right when you walk into the building).
  This has been discussed and looked at with the Caretaker, the current conclusion is that some people incorrectly handle the primary door which causes it to not close (the door when accessing from the main hall).
  The mechanism of the door can be forced into an incorrect position by handling the door very roughly (absurd level of handling the door), this then prevents the door from closing. The correct position for the mechanism is shown here. When the mechanism is in the incorrect position it can be corrected when the door is open by moving the weel part down and then allowing the door to close normally.
• Bikes are still being placed by people on the grass between E2 (middle building) and the HJK (main building) on the front side. Please do not place your bikes on the grass or risk your bike being removed.

The washing machine payment server is currently out of order that means that until that is fixed washing is free.

After the recent outage (and following repair) of the E1 elevator has caused the doors to close very loudly, the MO2 mechanic will visit next Tuesday to repair this.
